Krishnakumar Kunnath, who has been christened KK by the film music fraternity, made the audience sway, cheer and dance to his songs at his latest concert. The singer who performed on 26th January at the IIT- Madras as a part of their ongoing cultural event Saarang, came up with a splendid show.
KK, who has sung several Hindi and Tamil songs, sang a good mixture of both the languages in the concert that went on for nearly three hours. Maximum cheers went up the air as he belted out his famous Tamil numbers - the melodious Ninaithu Ninaithu Parthaal (7G Rainbow Colony), the peppy Uyirin Uyire (Kaakha Kaakha) and not to forget the foot-tapping Appadi Podu (Ghilli) which made even the middle-aged audience break into a jig.
He made the audience crave for more Tamil songs. He also sang popular Hindi numbers Yaaron Dosti (his popular album song), Koi Kahe (Dil Chahtha Hai), Tu Hi Meri Shab (Gangster) among many others. The best thing about the evening was the immense energy that the performer had on stage and the audience on the stands.
