Director, producer and actor Sasi Kumar has come up with a unique idea to help students and the movement is called Aram Sei. It is a welfare scheme by the students for the students. As per this scheme students in Annai College, Kumbakonam put aside a small sum to help fellow students who do not have the financial ability to put themselves through college.

Sasi Kumar said this was a very effective way to help provide education for the deserving and was guaranteed to increase literacy in this country. He suggested that his welfare scheme be implemented in all other educational institutions as well.
